looks good, and will work great except some of your parts are way overpriced.

PSU: Seasonic X-460FL

Recommend the Antec 430BP or 430W Earthwatts to save $100

Case: Antec Solo

I don't really understand this decision. The Antec 300 is $60 with free shipping, and is really quiet to my ears.

MOBO: Asus P8H67-M PRO

You can get this gigabyte with ESATA and more USB for the same price,

mfenn and Davidh373,

Thanks for your responses. I exchanged the Asus P8H67-M PRO for the Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H as recommended but kept the over priced PSU/Case because low to no noise is a priority and someone else has more sensitive hearing than me!

The thing is, as I explained before, the fanless PSU simply does not matter because there are other fans in the case. End of discussion.

The other fans in the case are part of the Noctua CPU HSF I purchased so I assumed that they and the HSF would be v quiet. Even if the case fans are louder than a PSU fan it may still contribute to noise/vibration. I realize I may have over spent but I was just trying to find the quietest components throughout. That's why I went for the 5400rpm WD Green rather than a faster HDD. Obviously, I don't have much experience with the hardware as I only build a new PC every four or five years so I took the opinions of the good people on this forum and others and made the best choice I could. We'll see how it goes.
