what song is that?

Not exactly a song, but it's a slow intro and exit to Iron Maiden's album Seventh Son of a Seventh Son.

...the best maiden album EVAR :)

I dunno, Piece of Mind is pretty awesome as well, but it is excellent! :D

It's snowing outside the rumbling sound
of engines roar in the night.
The mission is near the confident men
are waiting to drop from the sky.
The Blizzard goes on but still they must fly
No one should go where eagles dare!

Yes! That song is awesome! :D

:music: We get so close near enough to fight
When a Russian gets me in his sights
He pulls the trigger and I feel the blow
A burst of rounds take my horse below.

And as I lay there gazing at the sky
My body's numb and my throat is dry
And as I lay forgotten and alone
Without a tear I draw my parting groan. :music:

I dont believe he set out to kill them all. Everything he did had means to his ends. He didnt kill some of the other people.

John Doe specifically says this in the movie. He says he coveted (envy, sin #6) Brad life and wife, so he killed her. Mills commits the sin of wrath because of Doe killed his wife.

Yes I know who was killed for what.
But that doesn't answer my question about why Mills' wife dies, and why Mills doesn't die.
I just watched the ending again. Mills tells Doe that the people he killed are innocent people. John Doe says all the people he kills are not innocent as they have commited one of the seven deadly sins. That is true when he said that. However, when Mills' wife dies, it negates that point, as she has commited none of the deadly sins. Thus Doe negated the entire point of his killings, and he can no longer proclaim hiself as "innocent," and that destroys the entire purpose of his mission.
He also said that many people would also follow what he is doing - killing people for their deadly sins - basically doing God's work. This shows that people only dies for their sins. But Brad's wife died and she had not committed a sin. So it doesn't make sense.

yes, that is why he killed the wife, so brad pitt would kill him and be wrath, and he would die comitting envy.

Ok, well that explains why the wife died.
I know John Doe died for envy, and I know that Mills commits wrath. But Mills doesn't die for his sin. So there's still a hole there.

He gets arrested at the end of the movie for killing him.

Its is left open to be assumed he gets the death penalty.

I love how everyone keeps repeating what the OP already knows, even though he keeps rephrasing and re-explaining his question.

OP, you have a point, but you're going to have to ask the writer about that one. :)

You might also see what the amateur film experts here have to offer

Gwyneth has her own sins to answer for.

Worst "Secrets" sketch EVAR.

Show tunes? Assblasters Volume 12? Come on!

Actually I was looking for the one where she says something about killing a homeless man, but I think that's on the DVD and not my computer.
