Dell has two coupons out now. One is for 10% off all peripherals and the other is $10 off anything above $99. Shipping is free and there is no tax.

This brings the price of the burner down to about $109. There is a mail in rebate for $20 here.

Not bad for a first post at the Hot Deal Section?! This burner sells at Newegg for $113.
 
make sure it's a retail drive, not oem. The plex rebate is only for retail drives. HOT if this works!
 
Just called Dell up and they told me that this was the retail package... thats right baby!

If you go on pricewatch you will find places that sell this retail drive for $93 (AFR), but then you have to add like $12 for shipping and that knocks up the price to $105. So here you are saving yourself $16.

I bought this very drive from Dell about a month as a result of a Hot Deals thread. After all the coupons and rebates it came to $115 IIRC. It is full retail, includes one of each disk and some recording software that I forgot to look at.

Of course I really wanted the black model but it was not available.🙁

The black drive is available now and it's only $7 more! eBay here I come!
