Plextor's Adaptec software and Win2k

Has anyone used or tried the Adaptec software that comes with the Plextor 12/10/32A with Win2k. I have tried updating the software and everything else I can think of. The drive works with the Plextor Manager software and other burning software such as Nero. Any help would be appreciated.

win2k lacks an ASPI layer which is needed by your burner.
read this page & you can get ForceAspi from here!

Thank you so much I am going to go try it right away. Hopefully this works, if not I think I am going back to Win 98.

It didn't work. I ran that Adaptec utility that tells the ASPI layer and it sayed nothing then I ran the saftware you gave me and it worked. But the Adaptec software still sucks.
