Talk about thread crapping. If you have nothing worthwhile to say, go hang out in the Off Topic forum.

You can do a pricematch over the phone with a Staples CSR. You just have to give them the url to the lower price. Quick and easy.

feature in the plextor 12/10/32.

prodigy69 - You can actually price match three different ways (from best to worst):

1) Assuming you have already placed your Staples order online or over the phone, call 1-800-3-STAPLE option 2. Have your order number, customer ID, the competitor's web site, price and their item/SKU number ready (they will appreciate this).

2) Complete the Staples online price match form

3) Go into a brick and mortar store with the competitors information, they will charge you the next day shipping or if that's not available they usually charge a standard $5 shipping fee.

If anyone is interested in price matching Computers4Sure Plextor 8x/4x/32x then you should do it soon since that's their Deal of the Day which may change at any minute.

Lovin' my $193.50 Plextor 12x/10x/32x THANK YOU Onvia :)

PM is good if staples will let you do it, I was told attempting to pricematch before that unless they have their own wharehouse I can't PM with them . (not sure if thats in their policy or not)and it depends on the CSR too.

I think with Plextors since they're so reliable people don't even think about the burn proof feature. Seriously though, if you are burning at 12 speed, why are you worried about having to play Quake 3? Just wait the dang 5 minutes or do something more productive, ya know?

You can pricematch online... I did it last week for this same drive. I pricematched with buy.com though and used a $40 off $150 coupon and got it for $150 shipped. You place your order and when they send you the confirmation email you reply back to it with the link, the cost of the product and what they charge for shipping. If anyone has further questions about it feel free to email me.

For those who PM-ed the Plextor 8x4x32 with Staples within last 14 days...

...There's a new low retailer's price "out there": $151.90 ...$3.50 shipping

www.mychaseshop.com -- PID=569879

Staples will honor new lower prices (at least once) for a 14-day period after a customer's original purchase. The new base price for Staples' PM-purposes will be $151.90 + $3.50 = $155.40

A refund for the price difference (including tax) between a customer's previous order and current-possible-new-order will be applied to credit card (in my case $10.92, since I first PM-ed via the computers4sure $159.99+$5.50 DOTD yesterday).

After tax, $40-off-coupon & Staples' free shipping...

... New total cost == $124.92

Staples' Pricematch Policy

<< Policy:
If you find an identical item with a lower price, now or within 14 days of your purchase we will gladly match the price. The item must be in-stock and available for purchase from the competitor.

Where is the $40 off $150 Staples coupon everyone is talking about? I can't find it anywhere. The only ones I see are the $30 ones.

Thanks!
