I wish I could use the link. My plextor worked until last night. However I left the tray open and inadvertently kicked the damn thing. Now the door wont open or shut. Hopefully I can fix it and load the patch... Any ideas?

ugg...i dunno man... Look for some dead plextor drives and switch out the trays..that's the only thing i can think of.

The problem is probably that the gears jumped a tooth or two. Putting a new tray in probably won't help that, but if you can reset the gears it should.
