Hmmm?

I just got my plextor 12/10/32 IDE today and it aint compatible with CloneCD (any version), CDRWIN wont even recognise it :(

Ive just tried copying Tiberian Sun with WinONCD that came with the burner and it just hangs at the beginning of burning? :( :(

My old Yamaha was never like this.
Has this drive got issues? Or am i just dumb? ;)
I have DMA set for the Ide channel its on. (Ide2 as primary on its own)

The Drive's TLA# is 0305 so must be a really new revision yeah?

If any of u guys that own this drive can offer me some help/advice it'd be much appreciated,

I say update your CDRWIN. I used 3.8b and it didn't support my Plextor 12/10/32 SCSI. I switched to a newer 3.8c version of CDRWIN and everything was good again.

yeah you have to be using cdrwin 3.8c to use it with newer burners. i had to also update nero to 5.0.2.2 to see my tdk 12/10/32. also adaptec ez cd needs to be updated to 4.02e, but currently adaptec is not leting anyone download it because of copyright reason.

thanx guys :)

Ive got CDRWin working thanx to updating and also CloneCD works fine with sub channel enabled in with games like Quake3 and Homeworld but when i try with Tiberian Sun it just sits at 0% progress and goes no further? hmmm? :(

Does this mean that the plex can only read sub data when theres none there?
