If it's truely and seriously messed up, try a fresh install of Windows through the recovery partition. Tell us the brand and model of your notebook for more specific advice (using the recovery partition is a variable process based on the manufacturer).

Also, try not to write like you might text (God forbids anyone actually texting like that). How do you expect people to help you if you can't be understood?

Start windows in Safe Mode (hit the F8 key just before you see the Windows XP logo at boot) and see if Norton will run from there.

I never open the computer u think it can be dust that makes this problem?

I tried safe mode but it starts loadin it and just crashes and restarts I think safe mode is broken too

Do you have a friend/family member that is really into computers? Might want to ask them to take a look at it for you.

Most Dell computers (that I have worked on) have a recovery partition on the hard drive. You could try to run this and see if there is an option to do a restore without formatting the hard drive. That should give you enough time to get back in and remove the virus(es) before they take over again. You will have to re-install your games though.

Sounds like a severe malware infection or the hard drive is going bad. But trying to reinstall windows is a good thing to do. Problem is if the hard drive is going, you may not be able to reinstall. This happened to me, I had made restore disks when the computer was new, but when I tried to reinstall from them the computer just hung up. I reinstalled easily to a new hard drive.

It doesnt sound like you have much experience with computers, but you could try booting from a linux CD. You can download the program from the internet and burn it to CD, or even some computer magazines about linux have them I believe. Of course, downloading it would require a separate working computer. If the machine boots from CD and runs linux, that is a strong indication your hard drive is failing.

I would just wipe it and then do some serious security review. Get an antivirus to scan daily or at least weekly so they don't build up (Malwarebytes is as good or better than Norton, doesn't bug you for upgrades because there's no subscription length, and is free). Make an non-Administrator account your primary account. And for the love of God, if you're going to pirate stuff (not saying that you do, but it's common enough that it deserves a warning) you have to face up to the consequences and malware that might accompany it. Try limiting your programs' internet access with something like Little Snitch (so if a virus tries to upload personal data away, you can stop it).

For a 100% clean install on your computer, consider buying a new hard drive (around $70 for 1TB which is about 1000GB) and using the CD that came with your computer (and a code which should be on a sticker on the case of your computer) to start fresh.

Good luck.

Norton is Malware!

Often a computer starts doing this after you go to some website and then you cant hardly do anything. Usually it is the kind of website you should not have visited. Might start by getting rid of all your Internet data or temporary files in your Browser. I have mine set to delete my history after 0 days, so it is constantly deleting everything.

Usually this starts with a screen that says it found a virus. However, that is usually a virus itself.

If you are not constantly updating your OS it is probably out of date and any Virus software you have is probably out of date also.

Man I hate these stupid hidden partitions. They never work.
