What's really the big difference between the two? In general, and concerning style.
So far the responses of Old Man and Comfortable = Pleated, and Flat = Newer, Shows of your package more

And before anyone says it, yes I know, one's pleated, the other's flat.
 
I'm not sure of any other differences between the two except for that one is pleated and one is flat. Pleated pants might weigh a couple of ounces more. What kind of answers are you looking for?

Like style wise. Is one better for bigger/smaller builds? Stuff like that.
 
I prefer pleated and I am neither gay nor old. They seem to feel more comfortable cause they have a little more room.

Hell no. Maybe some gay guys have a thing for flat front pants (certainly the first time I'm hearing it), but flat front pants definitely aren't a "gay thing". Flat front pants are lighter and more stylish than pleated pants.

if you've got any kind of a gut,pleats will just accentuate the problem (depending on the cut of the leg)

Flat, because I hate the way pleated pants bunch up. Flat pants also look a lot cleaner. I'm 23, male, and straight. 🙂

CORRECTION: I live in the retirement state. I frequently go to nursing homes. Those guys like Dickies flats.

I like pleated because it's more comfortable. I'm the brand of nerd with no sense of fashion; I wear what works.

To answer your question: I'm 225 pounds, and flat pants don't fit my thighs very well.
 
but hey... do what you want. That's what I do. Wear what you like, not what we say. Be a real person and have your own sense of fashion.

People who are into wearing tight ass pants usually favor jeans.

Pleated pants may be more comfortable to wear if you're chubby, but keep in mind that they also make you look fatter. It's like a double-breasted suit. It has more bulk, so it makes you look heftier.
 
I like flat front. But I've gained weight since being married.... I guess I still prefer flat front.

People are saying flat is gay. I say the definition of gay is that a guy likes other guys... nothing to do with flat or pleated pants.

If you use a couple of socks, it don't matter if they are flat or pleated.
