On balance, yes. Harvey is, ummm, internet literate. He founded and led our group that policed the FS/FT forum and hunted down dishonorable traders relentlessly.

Harvey's got stories . . . and US patents.

So I called the number and spoke with Harvey. He did ask me how I got his number so I had to name drop and mention Perknose. I also mentioned I hang out in the OT and FS/FT part of the forum and that seemed to pacify him.

I will say there was a lot of noise going on in the background so it was hard to understand what he was saying. I did get the impression that he was in a some type of medical facility like a hospital.

Once I mentioned the name of this forum he really opened up and told me a few stories from the old days. Harveys Rules for Assholes stood out in my mind when we were talking and he really tried to tell me about a website but I didn't catch all of it. Something along the lines of "Internet cry for help" but when I asked him to repeat what he said it was to late. I didn't catch it.

Anyway, it was one of the more interesting phone calls I've ever made. The conversation only lasted for 12 minutes and that was ok considering I called a complete stranger.
