I read this article a long time ago, written by Rick Reilly of Sports Illustrated back when the original issue was out on shelves. I saved the article, framed it, and it now is right above my light-switch in my room. Every time I read it, it jolts me. It helps to remind me how fortunate I am, and I hope it does for you too.

Sad. :(

However, unless I'm wrong, is that whole story just a big gun-control propaganda filled article?

I didn't get that from it.

Wow. I've seen a lot of reasons to stop complaining lately. This would be the best one.

Why would you politicize that article? That's just pathetic.

Hmm...other than the part about where Dawn Anna says, "There are too many guns out there." "Way too many", that's the only part I could conceive as being some type of propaganda. Then again, if that is, then what isn't?

Thanks for reading it to those who have. Since reading this article probably once a few weeks, I've always wondered why people like Dawn Anna have it so rough and then there's people like me. I'm a 22 yr old guy and probably the worst thing that has happened to me is my parents getting divorced and the things that come along with that. I just keep telling myself, thing's ain't so bad.
