Looking specifically at users "edi sucks" and "RichPLS" and "Vegitto". Maybe others.

This is entirely uncalled for and over the top.

Was he banned for the weight comments, the gay comments, or both? I certainly don't condone those comments, but as mentioned in the thread, unless you look like Alba or Brad Pitt, be prepared for negativity.

I stopped reading anything from Vegitto when he decided to start a thread about testicle itches. I figure, if that is the level of his posts, I will just skip them. It is OT, so anything goes, but so does the ignore feature

Having said that... it is no surprise to me that mean spirited, hurtful remarks will be posted in the thread that some may... hmmm... how to word this... it is hard for me to understand why anyone would want to put themselves thru that. I mean, starting a thred to say... here are pics of me, my fince and my gay b/f is just a magnet to these type of immature responses. Some threads are just an invitation for a few ppl to offer idiotic/hurtful opinions.

Yup, and I think the reaction of those who post photos only provokes the immaturity. Those that told the immature posters to "F**k Off" only seemed to make it worse.

If you're sensitive to the comments of others, then you're probably better off not posting pictures of yourself....chances are someone WILL say something.

That's why I think these forums need a strict screening and interview process for new members.

I have no problem with people criticizing those who post their photos and whatnot... What I had a problem with was the nature, maturity, and repitition from certain people. Anyway, issue closed.

Looks like the same flaming towards overweight people on ATOT. I've seen "Hey you, my fatty co-workerd, stop stuffing yourself" or "check out this size 14 dress on e-bay" or my tax/insurance is being wasted on overweight people. People sure care about what people do/eat/choices in ATOT.

Same flames same message, I guess the issue was towards certain members and not in general as whole. So it degree in the flaming department that will get you banned.

Thank you Mods for sending those folks a nice (for the rest of us!) month's vacation (especially mr. fatty, who trolled extensively in the non-OT forums as well). :thumbsup

I only wish that you would have kept the thread open longer so more hateful idiots could have come out of the woodwork to request bans.
