Anyone else have an issue with this Chromebook ad? It pushes the topic list out sideways and takes up half my screen.

No I don't want to install an ad blocker and no I wont pay to not see the ads. I kind of like to see new stuff pop up.

EDIT: Someone changed it to vertical. Thank you.

Is it just me, or do the chromebooks seem overpriced by a fair amount? they look like they have netbook hardware for 375-500 ish and only a small SSD(that is probably not even indilinx level performance).

why would I want a chromebook instead of just putting chrome OS on a netbook?

Eh its ok. I clicked to check it out because of that Ad, actually. Also notice it gives you Verizon data 100mb a month for 2 years. It is included in the price from what I gather.

Overall $500 is too much, $375 isn't terrible but yeah a little cheaper might be good.

oh it includes free verizon data? that's better but 100mb is hardly anything. I guess google is hoping to make it up in the chrome app store.

Yep. I laughed me ass off when Google offered me to buy a new chromebook early (I was part of the cr-48 program) for $500.

Yea right. My CR-48 is nice and all, but I wouldn't pay more than $250 for it... 3g or not.
