Looking for some recommendations on some non resource hungry games that are fun to play like Tetris?

Civilizations II Gold!
Ultima VII
Raptor: Call of the Shadows
Terminal Velocity
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit should work
Blood ... er, wait, 9? =)
If you can find any of the old Indiana Jones adventure games (maybe try Abandonware sites), that game just ruled. Along the same veign are Quest for Glory I, Space Quest 1 and King's Quest. They've all had VGA remakes.

Take a look at the free games thread stickied at the top of the forum. There should be a few that can run. Kings Quest is pretty cool. There's a link to a site that remade the first two games in the thread somewhere.

Another vote for The Incredible Machine series!

Don't forget the awesome Wing Commander series as well. Graphics are a bit outdated, but fun as heck to play!

Look for abandonware on google. ..Where in the world is Carmen San Diego ...Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis ...Theme Park ...Sim city ... Sam and Max ... Many Lucas Arts games circa 1993.
For shooters Wolfenstien and Doom will satisfy (These are pre quake engines and should run well.)

Definitely a cool fighting game, and it's robots fighting so no blood, guts or ripped-out spines :)
