I think the main problem here, is that people on ATOT don't watch documentaries.

There's a book called "The Cuckoos Egg" that is about some hacking and tracking the guy down and so on. It's a pretty good read, and technically accurate.

Not a film, but I recall CyberPunk being a decent account. It's a book, so you'll have to read.
