I'd like to listen to some relaxing songs or just music, e.g. before going to bed. What do you guys recommend?
(Please refrain from recommending rap or rock)

Yep. Try Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, they have those Mozart "compliation" cds, like the one i have is "Mozart for the Mind"....

I find some Chopin and Beethoven pieces to be relaxing, though both of those composers (but especially Beethoven) also have some rather lively compositions, that you might not want to listen to before going to bed. 🙂

Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 1 is one of my favorites, and although it is not exactly the slowest, I still find it relaxing.

If you're going for more "modern" music, try Metallica's Nothing Else Matters. 😉
