Any experiences with IBM Navigator mouse? I love it, had a chance to use it briefly and I can honestly say that it's the most comfortable mouse I have ever tried. Unfortunately it's a bit too costly for me now, $30.

I would also like to recommend this mouse. Its very comfortable and great for people with larger hands. I had just a plain logitech optical wheel mouse that was very uncomfortable because of its small size. The IBM optical navigator also has very fast refresh rates and a awesome looking blue led under the scroll wheel... the only thing I can complain about is the side button and the scroll wheel doesn't work in some games like NOLF2. They work fine in MOH:AA though. In UT2003 the side button works, but the scroll wheel doesn't, unless you close the IBM mouse software, then its the other way around.

I use this mouse myself... it's pretty good. The only complaint I've had is that sometimes the cursor shoots to the bottom left hand corner of the screen, I don't know if it's the surface of my desk(woodgrain) or the mouse itself.

im acually going to get logitech mx700 myself, I currently have the logitech x2 optical wireless. I am very pleased with the distance and performance in games (much more accurate then any ball mouse I ever had or used), but am not pleased with the battery life, thats why im going with the MX (its rechargable).

To update you on your facts ,right now Logitech MX series have a faster tracking sensor then Microsoft mice ,they`ve 40 inches per second movement speed and higher DPI of 800 ;).
For the longest time, I was looking for the best mouse pad. Ratpadz were my favorite, but they weren't big enough (yes, everything I do is 3XL). So, I finally found one that was big enough, but the important thing is, I've seen every single review for the last 6 - 8 months for every mouse pad under the sun. Many of them have lists of every mouse that they tried with the mouse pad they were using. There are a few things I'd like to note:

A) Never once did the M$ Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 not work with a mouse pad. It even worked with completely clear mouse pads when no other mouse would.
B) Frequently, the MX series mice were roughly the same, compatibility-wise, as the M$ IE 3.0.
C) There were some mouse pads (just a few) that worked with the M$ mouse that didn't work with the MX series mice.

Every Logitech fan in the world tells me the specs of their mice, and every time I look at those reviews, I know that I still have the better mouse. But hey, that's just me.

I'm no fan, either way, but I just replaced my two MS 3.0's with a MX700 and MX500, and they are just in another league in my opinion. They fit better in my hand, look and work better than the MS ones, and are more accurate in the games I play. You are free to think what you want about your mouse..whatever makes you happy. However, I have both here, and I use the MX ones now while the MS ones gather dust in the closet..:)

It would be impossible for me or anyone else to test all the known mouse pads, however the MX series works with the best gaming pads available (which`s what counts right?)ie..Ratpad,Everglide models,Steel pad, fUnc 1030, even the Black Icemat so virtually all the popular ones available.

I find my optical mouse to move faster and smoother without a mouse pad.....
