What's one of the better PCI TV Tuners out there right now fellas? Are USBs even worth considering? Reason I ask is I have both a desktop and a laptop. Any digital tuners?

Considering that I normally switch video cards once a year, an ATI AIW may not be so good of an idea.

Thx,
Plucky

I have an ATI TV Wonder and it has worked fine for me.
I've used it with a Geforce2 MX and now with a Radeon LE... no problems.
the ATI multimedia center isn't the greatest, but it works.
For the price, I think it's a good deal.
PS. I'm currently using Power VCR as the software interface. It's much better than ATI's...

ATi's TV Wonder

Avoid USB (v.1) TV tuners if you plan on Video Capture

I don't think any v.2 USB tuners are out there yet, but a v.2 or a Firewire TV-Tuner should do fine for capture.

I have one of these although that is probably more than you want to spend. I think it was worth it, but I don't know what a buck is worth to you.

ATI TV Wonder is excellent
Leadtek XP2000 is also super - has FM stereo too.

I'm specifically looking into what the resolution size on it and if it uses the same/new technology as the Leadtek card .. btw .. y hasnt anyone mentioned the Hauppage or the Avermedia tv card? they both offer fm radios also hehe .... thx in advance for replies to my questions ...

I'm also looking for one myself and have pretty much narrowed it down to the following
Hauppauge WinTV FM Radio
Leadtek Winfast TV2000XP
Pinnacle Systems PCTV.

How do these compare against one another?
