Hello, I have a friend in the wilds of Cyprus that needs a solid 845PE mobo. I'll probably buy it for him and then ship it to him. He needs a minimum of 5 free PCI slots plus AGP 4x, doesn't require inbuilt audio, modem, LAN or RAID.

This is for an older fellow who needs stability, he won't overclock.

Thanks for any help.

Stable and no overclocking? I'd go for the Intel D845PESV board. from what I can see, it is the model without all the extra stuff, but does have audio.

You might not want overclocking but the Abit BH7 is as stable as it gets. No frills but is less than $90 on several sites
