Please recommend a cheap build for a non-gamer

MS Office; Internet; Maybe Casual Gaming

2. What YOUR budget is. A price range is acceptable as long as it's not more than a 20% spread

3. What country YOU will be buying YOUR parts from.

4. IF YOU have a brand preference. That means, are you an Intel-Fanboy, AMD-Fanboy, ATI-Fanboy, nVidia-Fanboy, Seagate-Fanboy, WD-Fanboy, etc, etc, etc, you get the picture.

5. If YOU intend on using any of YOUR current parts, and if so, what those parts are.
Maybe a Nvidia 6600.

6. IF YOU have searched and/or read similar threads.
Yes, but not for casual systems.

7. IF YOU plan on overclocking or run the system at default speeds.

Do you already have Windows and Office? If not:

Dell Vostro from Hot Deals here or other deal sites, ATI 4670 if you want gaming power and get a Dell without a card power connector.

I think this is a great deal

just throw in a old hd, ram and dvd/cd drive..

but like what DaveSimmons ask if u have os and office already?
if you already have most of the stuff you can get a pretty cheap c2d setup going on 🙂
