please reccomend me a decent TV card

I want to be able to watch tv on my 2405fwp ...

I also want the ability to record tv shows

which tv card should I get?

I am only running radeon 9550 vid card.. will this affect the picture quality a lot?

Hauppage PVR-150, hardware encoding so much less chance of dropped frames or out of sync audio when recording.

Yes, one of the best, most-used software-based encoding cards. If the Hauappge with hardware encoding is out of your budget range, this is a good second choice.

Yeah, the Leadtek TV cards are great. I've had good luck with mine.

Go with the WinTV PVR 150 and get BeyondTV, awesome combo. A little more expensive than the general card/software combo, but much better and easier to use.

I have the leadtek - if i had it to do over, i'd buy the hauppage, but the leadtek is quite good for a software card.

depends which card it's based on...shop around and find which one you'd be happy with.
