My dad wants to thank you, in his words:

Tears come to my eyes after reading your heartfelt messages. You all were probably considered strangers, but in my eyes I see you as family. No stranger could make such warm comments and truly mean it. I want to thank you all for taking time out of your busy lives and just wishing and praying that my father gets better. Thank you so much, this means the world to me. I'll keep you posted on his situation; I myself don't know everything seeing as though the time difference between Indian & the states is great. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
Stephen I.

There ya go. Straight from the "big bear" (as I call him) himself. Thanks guys :D He seems a bit stressed out today, but I am sure everything will work out for the better.

My prayers go out to both you, your father and your grandfather. I lost my granddad and my dad a month apart in 1999. I know how hard it is to feel so helpless when you can't make everything better. I will pray for your grandfather's speedy recovery and for your family to come together stronger in this time of stress.

Thank you Robin. My mom lost her mom (my grandma) at a pretty young age (I never saw my grandma) so she is grieving with my father and hoping for the best.

You guys are great. Thanks for all the comments! :)

Best wishes and hope for a speedy recovery for your grandfather, Josh. My thoughts are also with your father who is going through an extremely stressful time far away from his ailing father.

Josh, I will be glad to pray for your grandfather, and also you and your family. When a loved one is in pain, the whole family is in pain; especially when the family is as close as yours sounds. Be strong, and be sure to take care of yourselves in order to keep being strong for your grandfather. I hope everything works itself out, and I'll be praying fo you.

=(

/me declines any jokes...

um... i lost my grandfather several years ago... it was =(

but i knew it was his time... he was suffering from cancer... his death eased his pain and he is in a better place.

we can only move on, and live the life that our beloved wanted us to live.

Mr. Israel, I am sure your father wants you to live life, after a period of appropriate distress. It is not the pain you should be thinking of, it is the joy that your father has experienced that should be in your thoughts. =)

Josh best wishes, ;-)

Its so nice to see the same people that can argue and bicker on regular posts can be so caring and empathetic when one of their own is in trouble or having a rough time .. makes ya think humans still have a chance at figuring out how to come together as a whole ... Josh I hope you hear good news tonight. You all are still in my prayers :)

Robin,
I agree with you. I didn't at all think that some of the people who replied would. Most of them either *i think* hated me or still do. I really don't care, I usually just ignore their messages, I believe that at the time they post something really hatred toward me they are probably just having a bad day or something. Most of the comments on the message boards shouldn't be taken too seriously, I only recently learned that!
