Please post your system temps

Hi guys,

Was just wondering if any of you can post up the temps of your board just so I can compare mine to. Preferably those of you with the GA-P35-DS3P board and 8800GT video card with no aftermarket HSF. If possible also your case setup (fans, speed etc).

Reason for my asking is that I'm not too happy about the temps I am getting although I am well aware they are within safe working temperatures.

Setup:

Case - Antec P180, 1 intake (Nexus @ 700rpm controlled by fanmate), 2 exhaust (1 x standard size 120mm tricool on low, 1 x 38mm thick 120mm tricool on low). Lower chamber is sealed off from upper chamber using tape so as to not allow heat from HDD to rise up and affect anything else.
Doors for intake have been removed but I'm keeping the filter on.
Motherboard - GA-P35-DS3P rev 2.0 with stock silent pipe
CPU - Core2 e6750 with XP90 + Nexus variable controlled speed
Graphics - 8800GT with stock cooler

Temps I'm getting for the video card was around 60 degrees idle and 91 degrees load. Ramping fan to 45% from stock 30% bought these down to 52 and 80 degrees respectively.

However system temps loads at around 48 degrees and the heatsink on the northbridge is way too hot to touch which tells me its at least 50 - 60 degrees easy. Should I be worried about this since its within working limits or should I really try to chuck an aftermarket HSF on it to help it cool down?

Prior to adding the 8800GT, with the 7900GS system temps never exceeded 45 degrees and the NB heatsink was warm to touch but no where near scorching.

cheers

I will let you know. I just built a similar rig and will be testing it all day. Also, is there any reason not to run your cooling fans on high setting?

I like to keep my PC as quiet as possible after spending so much money to get there a couple of weeks ago when I was still with my 7900GS. But doesn't seem like thats possible anymore with the 8800GT. I think I'm being overly cautious though but I appreciate you taking your time to post your temps when your finished testing.
