Please post here if you have NForce2 mobo with ATI card

I am curious to see which NForce2 board you use and which ATI card you have.

I went in to the local store the other day and asked the guy about NForce2 mobos... when I told him what video card I had, he told me not to buy the NF7-S because he has seen them all come back when people try to use an ATI video card... now, I'd try this for myself and find out, but I'd rather see if anyone else has heard of such a thing, or ATI on NForce2 boards period... any make. heard of any problems???

I am considering buying a Soltek SL-75FRN2-L and using my Sapphire 9700 Pro.

works fine for me

I have an Epox 8rda+ and a Sapphire 9700 pro that works fine.

I have heard of problems with 1st generation 9700 cards though. But they seemed to be fairly rare.

I did notice some "irregularities" when I moved to the Radeon from my old GF4 but things are much better now.

I have irregularities with my 9700 pro on my 845pe board, but it still works fine, and plays games reliably with not a crash yet.

Running an A7N8X Deluxe and have used Rad BBA 8500LE, BBA 9500 Pro, BBA 9700 Pro on it at one time or another, all successfully. Friend has ABIT NF7-S 1.2 with Powercolor 9700, another friend has NF7-S 2.0 with previously mentioned BBA 9500, both work fine.

MSI K7N2-L running a Tyan Tachyon G9700 PRO and all runs fine. I have read that this boards most recent bios has issues with Radeons but i haven't seen any of that with the tyan card.

NF7-S 2.0 and "built by ati RETAIL" Radeon 9500 pro 128mb

only caveat i have thus far, is that i'm using the hacked bios for my 9500pro (shows up as 9700 pro in windows) and since getting this mobo, can't seem to overclock the vid card anymore. no matter what bios I try; whether I'm running it at 330/300 or at the default 275/270 I get the SAME fps in both clock speeds. Although overclock DOES seem to work, because if I set my clock too high, I get visual defects (screen messes up, due to too high of a gpu/mem clockspeed, and I'm forced to shut down and power off for a couple of seconds, then back on). Anyone else have this issue?
