Hello, I have been using dual monitors for a long time, kinda off and on.
I have never had any trouble, using my Voodoo 3 3000 (agp), and a ATI Rage Pro (pci) as the second one. However, I hated it since in Windows 98 made my PCI card the dafault, which, as you can imagine, made my games suck.
So, I got WindowsME, and like 2000, I do believe I can choose my default monitor, which is nice for games.
However, Iam having some trouble. I install the cards (tried different pci slots too), and the cards are found no problem, and I install the drivers. However, when I reboot, the ATI Rage Pro only works.
I got to device manager and the Voodoo 3 gives me this error:
Mulitple Displayt cannot start this device. The area of memory normally used by video is in use by another program or device.
Okay, so, anyone know how I can make them both work and get my V3 some memory?
Anything would be really appricated...THANKS!!
