Man that looks like a sweet television. It appears to be available in Greenville SC. It was going to let me check out anyway. Free shipping too.

<< This deal is DEAD, DEAD, DEAD. I was reading the thread over on FW. Pricing error. And some bright individual CALLED and ruined the deal it seems.

Sorry guys, you can stick a fork in this one.
>>

Are you just retarded? Yes they called and bought the attention of someone at best buy so more people couldn't try to get in on it but NO ONE IS GOING TO GET THIS. It is obviously a price error. People might get another gift certificate.

You just make me laugh hearing you say they ruined it.

Jim

Well it still shows at that price and it still can be added to basket, you can still search for avalability, so (and this sounds weird) is there any confermation that the deal is truely pushing up daiseys?

I mean it is obviously a hit or miss with availability, but......

FYI: not avail in Fort Wayne according to search on site.... did not check B&M.

Man, are you wrong. I ordered 4 of them, picked them up from bestbuy, stacked them on top of each other, and am watching the simpsons on one giant 172" screen. I'm laughing at you all. 😀

Best Buy did the same pricing error on the same product just a few weeks ago, I can;t seem to understand why they would make the same mistake twice!!!!! Either way they should get there act together.

lol 🙂

What a coincidence I bought 4 of them ...but I am watching 'The Weakest Link' "Best Buy"...You ARE the weakest link ,goodbye.

Codewiz, thank you for your insightful reply. The only reason I used the phrase "ruined" is because I had read in FW last night where some people found them to be in stock locally at their BB. And since that was the case they had the potential to go and perhaps have something to negotiate with.

It was just a comment, I didn't expect to get dogged for it, damn. I will attempt to avoid any further editorializing.

Codewiz,

InternalRevenue was referring to one of the "implied rules" of hot deals on other forums: DO NOT CALL if you believe the deal is a pricing error.

BTW, I'm not going to be drawn into a debate of the ethical implications, I'm just posting the reason why so many people say not to call.

<< Print it out and pricematch with blue? >>

Now that is a damn interesting idea.
Too bad I don't have a Blue. 🙁

Only problem with this is that you will have to find one for no more then 775 as Blue will only PM up to $250. Now it might be possible to PM with sears... at least get them to the 775 range and maybe with blue afterward. But sears might call BB and ruin the deal... Ha

Already checked sears. they do not have that model. I've called every one in town. Nobody has it. :frown:

This is NOT a pricing error.

I talked to .com CS last night to see if they could tell me which store closest to me had it since I was willing to drive several hours to pick it up. I actually spoke to 3 different csr's just to make sure their story was the same.

They said that these are on clearance and that there are only a few in their system. However, she was not able to search local store stock & told me I needed to call a BM store so that they could check the inventory at surrounding stores.

I called BM @10 today (2 different ones) both told me that they didn't have them. It was last years model & model closeouts get clearanced pretty quickly. Neither we able to find the SKU number, which they need to search stock at neighboring stores.

I think the people that were able to check out based upon availability in their area will probably get this - assuming that their inventory/availability system is current and accurate.

BTW - this is not the same TV that was mispriced a few weeks ago.

Yea I checked the web and the smallest they have are the 53" model. 43" is a bit small but the price is right... damn it.

Yea the model they priced wrong last time was the 61" model for only $675 ... which still won't allow me to check out with... damnit now that I want!
