i don't know about how legit a trade like that would be but it is frowned upon here at AT

i suggest doing a search for a key generator (assuming you lost your hl cd-key and you legally bought half life)

Those key-gens don't generate random, new, functioning keys; they show and recycle logged keys that are currently online in gameplay.
