This predictably led to a flame-fest (which I admit I, in part, fueled), and it is obvious now that nothing good can come from it. I find it perplexing that such hate speech is a bannable offense when directed at some but apparently perfectly acceptable when directed at others.

If that's too complicated for you to understand, try looking both words up in a dictionary. It's a big book that defines words.
