No problem. There are a lot of close-minded idiots in this thread.

Being multilingual is an asset, not a liability. Hell, most people in Europe speak at least 2-3 different languages.

But I do think I started this thread in fun and was NOT about race relations in America. It turned into a worse pissing contest than P&N typically sees.
Consider it closed.

Nor do I, Shorty, but if you can't see what's wrong with bringing up the subject of "fucking immigrants" in this thread, then I would question your judgement as well. In any event, I will gladly consider it closed.

You fucked up the quotes, you dumb mick!

where at? are you traveling?

Granada, I've lived here for the last 16 years.

I spent a week in Spain last summer and really enjoyed it. It's a beautiful country...none of the urban sprawl we have here in the U.S. I'd like to visit Spain again at some point during my life.

I recommend Granada, obviously, and Almeria (the setting of The Good, the Bad and The Ugly) has incredible landscapes and beaches (I could go on).

I'd like to visit Barcelona and perhaps Valencia...to see a Formula One race preferably. They have a fantastic street circuit there.

Fantastic cities, now if they could just sort out the shambles in Formula One...

I'm in to bikes myself, so Jerez would be my first choice.

I'm into bikes too. Another reason I loved Spain. So many people ride there.

What do you ride?

Any property they've accumulated while they're here illegally should be confiscated and sold to help offset the costs of rounding them up, housing them until they're deported, any attorney fees, and, of course, the costs of transporting them back to their native land. Well said. /applause

I think I'm just gonna vote republican from now on. Fucking illegals harboring democrats are ruining my city.

Beautiful twin, beautiful sound and great for astronomy (you'll be looking more at the sky than at the road).

We need a bike thread.

Democrats have controlled your city for decades...hell, probably for half a century now. Illegals have nothing to do with that.

And I already shot down the idiotic argument you are agreeing with in an earlier post.

No, you haven't. You've just posted your own opinion on the matter as he has his. Which I and most of the country happen to agree with. Too bad politicians are too spineless to act on it, though.

What's the other language?

French, limited knowledge also, but much more than my "Spanish".

You deny that Switzerland is a succesful multi-lingual country?

Ireland has Gaelic (well, it's more or less dead, but they are fighting to save it), Spain has four or five different languages and the list goes on: they all seem to manage. Still, Nik, I can fully understand why some of you need and advocate a single language in order to attempt to understand what's going on around you.

In any event, we've been over all of this and the OP has called for the thread to be locked, so I'm done, maybe you should take this crap to P&N.

It's not opinion. It is fact. Having one language does not benefit a country anymore than having one religion benefits it. We claim to be a free country but then we have idiots spouting off this kind of talk which is really nothing more than hatred. Let's blame the Mexicans for the state of our economy! Yeah, like they're the root of the real problems in this country.

They're scapegoats...and you've been had.
