Man looks like intel finaly woke up and made a good new years resolution.

This is necesarry to keep rambust in line.

I too hope it's true but see the need for caution.

Yeah right. These financial experts have had their heads up their assets far too long. Eug's recommendation is "sell", despite the fact that they are only at $35 at the moment.:p

Read that earlier, and even the register said that it might just be a mistake...

That would kind of be like shooting yourself in the foot...

True, Spook, but anytime your foot is cancerous, and has herpes, warts, lepersy, fungus, and the flesh-eating bacteria, you might as well shoot it...

(Anyone see the analogy to ramBUST here?)

Update
(filed 4.18pm GMT, Jan 2)Someone at CNBC reads The Register. The reference to Intel sueing Rambus has now been removed

They gonna make up thier minds?

What that $185 stock price means to me is that the smart money still believes Rambus has everyone by the gonads. I hope not, but talk is cheap and Rambus stock is not.

On a happier second thought, it could also mean Rambus is a $400 stock on its way to a $5 stock. I haven't tracked it. Anyone?

Yucky: You're right. I missed the "could" twice. Happy day.
A $185 price would have meant only one thing. That is, we are all soon to be standing in one long line begging Ranbus to take our money.
