I have k7 master s mother board with 1.33 anthlon, along with pioneer dvd and a tdk burner, msi agp graphic card - nvidia G2 pro, plus sound blasterx-gamer with win 2000 pro as a os system. I am currently building the system. I had everything up and running the last thing to install was my ethernet card. I put it in pci slot 4 and when i tried to boot up, the processor stopped working during bootup phase (the k-7 board has a 4 light d-led graphic signal display, that helps to diagnose the prblem). I tried several soft and hard boot ups and pressed del key and got passed the processor code and then i got a test real time clock code, then bios sign on code. now the system boots up with the screen with a blinking prompt and the key board does not work. I took out the sound and ethernet cards. I removed and replaced the battery from mother board (i was desperate):(:(

Try to take out all the cards off the mobo. Second, try to reseat the mobo. If it works then when you install it, just put the video card and memory first until the installation success. After that you can start adding the cards one by one. Don't put them all in at one time.
