PLEASE HELP!!!

I am attempting to trouble shoot a problem with a computer. I installed Win2k on a HD and was going to install the drive to another machine. The machine is a FIC pa-2013 with an AMDk62 350. The only thing is that the computer boots up but once it gets to "gathering DMI pool data" it stays black and just beeps or clicks every few seconds. I know it is not the HD cause I tried it in the original machine (unknown mobo, cyrix II 300) and in another box (Asus A7V, AMD Duron 700). Fic's website says it could be the AGP card (ATI Rage)so to switch to a PCI or ISA video card. Now here is the question if it was the AGP video card would I still be able to see the boot or to go into Setup. I mean i can see both before it stops and I would think that if it was the AGP card that I wouldn't. Help I am leaving work soon and the Store is on my way home!!!!

Hang onto your $$$ until after you install the HD on the 2013 and do a clean Win2K install. Installing an OS using one mobo, then xferring to a different mobo can sure cause a corrupted registry.
