i have a 750mhz tb on a AOPEN mk33 motherboard with 128 megs of ram and a geforce 2 mx, when i install windows everthing goes fine untel it starts detecting the plug and play devices, then it freezes everytime. i have tried 2 differnt power supplies, 2 differnt hard drive, antoher video card and a differnt stick of ram and the same thing always happens.. i think i have not set somthing correctly in the bios or the onboard sound is causing the problem, cause when i used a hard drive with win98 already on it, it worked in safe mode

Strip it down to your best one stick of ram in the first slot, one HDD on Pri.Master (check jumpers),PCI video card,CDROM,floppy, reseat every wire and component, check for cable orientation.
Check all jumpers, Don't O.C.
Reset the bios to defaults, ram by SPD
Redetect your drives
Turn off virus detection in the bios
