I upgraded my h/w to a Athalon XP 1600 XP333 mobo 256 DDR333 OCZ memory WD400BB h/d. the xp333 is jumpered for 133 fsb,
if I change the cpu clk setting in bios Iam not able to load ANY os, at the 100 setting no problem but I then have an Athalon 1250 not a 1600, a waste to me. other H/W is a Viper 770. Is there something I'm missing here? Any help would be very much appreciated!

I have a XP1600+ on a XP333R with PC-2400 OCZ DDR... Had similar problem, but mine would resort to 1050 Mhz at boot-up (100*10.5 instead of 133*10.5). Two tips that you may consider:

1. Leave the jumper entirely off the motherboard that selects 100 or 133 Mhz as the frontside bus. Supposed to work better that way, mine seems to find 133 Mhz now.

2. Supposedly the January 16 BIOS is the most stable and addresses this issue best, too... I have the March 14 version and it seems o.k. now, too.

Only had this thing a week and have creeped up to 155*10.5 at 1.8V so far... I like it!!
