Just got my system in, I want to clock my Q6600 up to 3.0. I understand this is done by setting the FSB to 333, however I can not for the life of me find a FSB ratio in my BIOS. I am running a Asus P5N-D motherboard. Can anyone tell me how to get myself up to 3.0? Thanks a ton in advance, I have googled and read the mobo manual with no success :(

Well I'm not sure about your memory/board/cpu but I always prefer to run my memory synchronized with my fsb, so at 1333 fsb, 333 actual fsb x2 for ddr2 = 666mhz but that might just be me.

It's possible that you need to up the CPU voltage, although most people have been able to hit 3.0GHz without a voltage bump I believe. If you've never overclocked before, I would recommend that you read graysky's guide that's stickied at the top of this forum. It'll probably answer a lot of your questions. (Including ones you didn't know you had.)
