Please help with iwill kk266 board

I finally got my system up and running properly and it's great with the exception of one thing. I am not sure what the reason behine this is but when I play the game red alert 2 on the internet. Right after I exit to the main menu of the game, my computer locks up using a linksys ethernet card. However when I put in my netgear card, when I do the same thing, the game doesn't lock up, but I lose my internet connection right after that, it says logging off from westwood. I even tried pinging my router after that and there is no response, I would have to restart the computer to get the connection back, please help if you can. Also sometimes when I restart after a lock up, the system stops at the windows scandisk screen around 24%. No idea what else to try anymore. Here is my system
Iwill kk266 v 1.2 with the bios from 3-07 from iwill
Elsa Geforce 2 ultra card using their drivers (got a 3dmark about 3209 max)
Onboard sound
Netgear ethernet card
regular fan (cpu is about 42 degrees idle)
tried all kinds of combinations in the bios, thanks again for your time...
