I have winxp [with SP1 and all critical upgrades] and use windows messenger. i installed msn messenger 6.1 for my wife and configured them so that MMS
opens/runs automatically when she logs into her account, but WMS opens when i log in [i disabled MMS 6 startup on my account as i neither need nor want it]
However, i seem to have lost the windows messenger icon from my taskbar! It logs in and does all it is supposed to in the background but unless i physically select it from thstart menu i dont see the icon. how do i get it back so that i can see the windows messeger service icon
on my user account [and know what it is doing!]? i dont get the msn messenger icon either [but then i set it that way anyway]
when i unintall msn messenger the icon reappears! I would like to be able to get both of these messengers working in harmony but cant seem to do so.
