Hi guys

I did a repair of windows XP home edition. I didn't format my drive. Anyway when it is registering all of the components in the installation I get this error that pops up:

unregmp2.exe - Entry Point Not Found

(X) The Procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

I click on ok and it just pops up again, I click on the close X and it pops up again.

Any ideas ?

Edit - I restarted and the setup began over again. This time it asked me to install software for two non-certified programs, one was the RAID controller for my motherboard, the other was something to do with NVIDIA audio. I said yes to the RAID and no to the NVIDIA, setup ran through fine. When I restarted though I get a blue screen of death right before windows starts up, saying to FDISK and check for viruses, then restart. Can't get around it.

Isn't there an option to skip file? I got an error like that once while installing and I just skipped it and I don't think it did anything different.

I was having problems booting into windows. The system would hang between POST and the windows startup screen. I would have to do a system restore to get into windows normally.

It's possible you have a hardware problem. Most likely candidates are the RAM and the hard drive (hence the corrupted file).

Well I did just install 2 new DIMMS of 256 2700 AZENRAM, I took them out and I still got the BSOD. The hard drive is a maxtor SATA 80 gig, I reeeeallly hope that's not it :S Anyway to check ?
