Please help Unstable system

Well, I purchased a mobo from a member here. When I turn on the computer, it would shut off every min and a red flashing light on the mobo would turn on and beep. It wont stop beeping till I unplug the power and if I plug it back on, the computer will turn back on automatically.

Note: I just got this mobo and I still have my old windows on the hard drive, I can boot up but it will pop up a message and it says something "unstable.. 20 errors" and it shuts itself off after that.

you will need to format your hard drive. but that wouldnt cause the problem. i tried to use an old unformatted hd on my new rig, and i just got a bsod when windows tried to boot. it looks like a mobo problem. try switching out components like ram, video, and cpu if you can.
 
The board is FIC KT-748 Socket A mobo. I have tried reformating it but it would shut down before it could even installing it window on there.
