Hey there,

I'm going to be out all weekend and wanted to know what would be a good size of blocks for my computers to work on. I told the client to keep the work flushed and yet when I get disconnected (poor 56k here) it doesn't. So just in case, I wanted to make sure it didn't run out of work.

My setup is a P3-450@600 and a Athlon 700Mhz@882Mhz. Right now the main box (athlon) is buffering 1,200 blocks while the P3 is buffering 1,000 blocks. Would 2,200 be enough?

if youre running one of the latest clients, there is an option in the config to tell it to buffer for a number of hours rather than a number of blocks - set it for 96 hours then update again - that should see you through

from the main config menu, its option 2, then option 14
