Please help PC to Mac conversion question

I'm going to be getting a Macbook Pro soon after being a PC person for years. My decision to make the move was bumped up when my laptop got ruined. I did do backups frequently and have all my music files from itunes backed up as well from my PC.

I've got an iphone and an ipad and am wondering how I can sync my iphone and ipad to my new Macbook without losing everything?

Did you backup your iTunes xml config files as well? I have formatted my MBP and replacing the config files allowed me to keep my phone/ipad syncing through formats without having to erase info. Just have to place the files in the right spots before bringing the phone in to the equation.

Thanks. I guess I should have been a little clearer because I left out some crucial information. My PC was ruined and can no longer boot up. However, I did just do a complete backup of the itunes folder (along with everything else in My Documents) just a week ago.

Is there a program that can get the music off my iPad and iPhone when it was formatted for PC?

You should just be able to transfer the iTunes Folder into the Music folder of your Home folder no problem.

There may be some things you have to do for the xml library, but other than that. NO other problems should arise.
