I am the unofficial official "IT" person for my office. Our current network consists of the following:
Mindspring ADSL ISP -> ADSL Modem -> D-Link 614 Wireless Router -> Linksys 5-port Hub. This serves 6 computers via cable and a minimum of 1 computer wirelessly.
Now, the main office has sent us a SonicWall hardware VPN router. According to them, it will be our new router, replacing the D-Link 614.
BUT, we still have to network a minimum of 1 computer wirelessly. It is possible for the D-Link 614 to sit behind the SonicWall router and work as like a wireless switch?
Edit: So would the following network setup still work to serve 6 wired computers and a minimum of 1 wirelessly?
Mindspring ADSL ISP -> ADSL Modem -> SonicWall Hardware VPN Router -> D-Link 614 Wireless/5-Port Switch
