PLEASE HELP!!!! NNOO!! My whole summers project just got erased!?!?!?

for some reason LINUX wont let me log in as either my user name or the root on my computer

is there any way i can get the information on the disk...i have a dos partition on it too

What was your summer's project? Installing Linux? If it was just reinstall it

if the problem is a lost password, you can easily bypass logging in, change the root password and relogin.

Just look for it online..........

thanx i got someone to help me do that...now it wont load a font so i cant get into graphics mode, but at least i got my files...i think there must have been some hardware problem that is making it overwrite important files
...its a stand alone box so it cant be getting hacked or have a virus
