Please help me!

Hi, I am new to this forum and I would like to ask some help from you pros out there.

I wanted to put together a new computer system and was wondering about the compatability issues, so here is my new system tobe:

Asus P4TE
Intel P4 2.2
Nvidia GeForce 3
Soundblaster Audigy Platinum
Plextor 40X burner
Other misc. items (such as: speakers, hardrive, etc..)

Also, the memory is 512 MB Rambus.

May I ask, is there any compatability issues with these components? If so, is there a way around it? Please help, thanks

Also, all of this is running under Win XP. Will there be any probs?

only thing may be the install of the audigy....make sure you use drivers on disk first then upgrade to winxp drivers at thier site...Also I believe xp will not detect it right but let it just see what it wants...run install off of cd and reboot and it should correct everything up...then update to xp and you are a go...

ONly thing with xp a lot of older software is incompatable and a lot of even newer software needs updates to run correctly...It took me a few days to update display drivers, scanner drivers, dvd software player, sound card drivers, modem drivers, etc, etc...

just a heads up the 2.2 is supposed to drop in price may 6 i believe to around 250ish for retail
