Please help me with this Security Camera Computer

This thing has all kinds of plugs that ive never seen before... Im trying to change the mobo in it so i can return it to my customer. But im not sure where all this stuff goes.

Heres a pic of my first question... what type of plug is this?> It has 3 wires going into a grey (IDE-type) connector.

right next to where its connected it says com2, but i dont have any plug like that on the new mobo 🙁

It could just be an internal serial header. Why don't you pull up the specs (using Aopen's website) on the old motherboard and take a look at what it is. You might just have to get an add-in PCI serial card with an internal header on it.

Offhand, it looks like a small ribbon spliced onto a blue-white-black set of wires, which appear to be a power connection. I agree with Dowfen - try to get the AOpen layout for that motherboard.

Anyway - it's another bump.
