My friends Laptop will not allow him to access the HD. It is seen fine by the BIOS but any software app that tries to talk to the HD gives a general error reading drive C: even fdisk says that it can not access hard disk 1.

I believe he may have a Virus but the only software I have is NAV Corporate that my work provides me and I need a bootable floppy type scanner. Could someone here help me out with a bootable floppy type scanner.
