Please help me with possible Virus problem.

My friends Laptop will not allow him to access the HD. It is seen fine by the BIOS but any software app that tries to talk to the HD gives a general error reading drive C: even fdisk says that it can not access hard disk 1.

I believe he may have a Virus but the only software I have is NAV Corporate that my work provides me and I need a bootable floppy type scanner. Could someone here help me out with a bootable floppy type scanner.

Search for Dr. Watson............they make a floppy fixer/checker I think you can DL off the net
