He wasn't referring to PMing someone at AT, However you click on their avatar, and if they have it enabled, it will open a windows with a link to do so. On the forum that you linked, you do the same thing, except that you click on their username instead.

You need a benchmarking program, such as 3D Mark, to be able to determine how much you can overclock your video card, and something like RivaTuner to make adjustments.
