I have a bunch of purchases to make for a new build. I've notice that BING lists tigerdirect as an 8% off vendor.

I assume as long as I click on the Tigerdirect link from within BING I get 8% off everything on my order, right? Or.... do I have to search for each items and THEN select the item from a tigerdirect link???

Will my Tiger direct order indicate 8% off at time of checkout... A little worried that it wont and I won't get the 8%.

As an aside... I think Newegg is 2%

If you search for "Tiger Direct" using Bing, there should be an ad link that gives you 12.8% cashback from Tiger Direct. When you're ready to checkout, you should see the total Bing cashback when you go to your cart, and there should be an option when you're checking out to have Tiger Direct forward your purchase info to Bing to verify your cash back.

go to bing, click one of their tigerdirect links with bing cashback.

Shop like normal at tiger direct. You can add a bunch of items then like you normally would, without having to go back to bing after each item.

I dunno if I always see the money that is supposed to be coming back from all vendors, but a few days later usually, bing will notify you that you've made a bing cash-back eligible purchase. They'll throw the appropriate amount in your bing account, and then you transfer to paypal or use other means to collect your cashback. Kinda like a rebate without the hassle of filling out a card and sending it in.

Thanks folks...

Why the "Ugh" for Tiger Direct?

Also, when I goe to Bing and do a search on Tiger Direct, there is 8% cashback, not 12%...

One more question... Is it fair to assume that if a vendor lists say, 8% back then ALL items I purchase will yield 8% or just some or most of the items I put in my cart?

THANKS.

Don't you have to get a bing account or some irritating crap and then you get the money back later? That is the impression I had for walmart, seemed like a big pain in the ass game and I hate rubbish like that so I just ignored it.

Yes, you do need to open up a Bing Cashback Account. However, it's easy and when eBay was offering 30% cashback and it was awesome.

And getting 12.8% cashback at TigerDirect is better than getting 0% cashback for opening a Bing account and clicking thru to TigerDirect from Bing.

bing is awesome. i've gotten over $200 cashback over the last year and a half

Its awesome because you got money back.

Right.

MS pulling an anti-competitive BS again. Toss money at people and they will think your search is great even though it has nothing to do with it.
