My windows media player has a black "tint" Which makes it very hard to see anything and i would love to watch my movies and stuff, but it isnt worth it. I tried reinstalling wmp, windows updates. nothing works. wtf?

EDIT: It does it in divx player too, so idk what to make of this.

PS - i cant take a screenshot, MSPAINT doesnt seem to be installed(wtf #2?)

Try this

You will not be disappointed, does everything WMP does in a lighter and better package. I swear by it

Does that play DVD's with 5.1 audio?

hmm...I never tried, never really had a need to play DVD's on PC, it can play the DVD's but not sure about the sound.

I've got a similar problem to the OP, but specifically DVD's through WMP don't have any video at all. I've been looking for a replacement player and have yet to find a decent one. That one you linked has great video playback but I can't get 6 channel audio to work. VLC media player has 6 channel audio but has horizontal banding issues on DVD's..

Weird, how did you enable 5.1 audio? Changing the input from 2 channels to 6 channels isn't working and I can't find anything else to try.

It's light and fast. I don't see what's wrong with it.
